Role Overview:
We are searching for a highly strategic, data-driven Senior Social Media Manager to own and scale mDoc's digital footprint. You will move beyond tactical content posting to design end-to-end social media funnels that build deep community trust, elevate health literacy, and drive patient/consumer acquisition.The ideal candidate understands how to translate complex health concepts and behavioral science principles into high-impact, empathetic social media campaigns that inspire real-world action.Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Strategy and Funnel Design: Architect and implement a multi-channel social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X, with a clear expansion roadmap for emerging platforms (such as TikTok) to support mDoc's editorial and clinical mission.
Community Engineering: Design and execute a growth strategy to build an active, highly engaged community of self-care and wellness enthusiasts, positioning mDoc as the top-of-mind destination for chronic disease self-management.
Data and Analytics Ownership: Go beyond vanity metrics like likes and shares. Set up frameworks to measure campaign success, tracking conversion rates, audience sentiment shift, health literacy growth, and community engagement via monthly data reports.
Cross-Functional Content Creation: Partner with Creative Services and clinical teams to produce compelling text, video, and graphic social media content that simplifies complex medical guidelines into accessible consumer knowledge.
Paid Media Optimization: Manage and optimize paid digital ad budgets on Meta and other networks to cost-effectively drive target demographics to mDoc's storefront, blogs, and digital health tools.
Brand Governance and Support: Maintain absolute consistency in brand voice and compliance. Monitor social media channels to handle healthcare-related queries, direct users to customer support, and seamlessly assist the broader communications team with CMS updates and copywriting.
Requirements and Experience
Proven Strategy Portfolio: 3 to 5+ years of experience managing consumer-facing social media platforms, with a documented history of building active online communities or scaling digital brands.
Healthcare/Empathetic Marketing Lens: Experience or a deep comfort level working with complex topics (like digital health, tech, or behavioral science) and translating them into relatable consumer content.
Visual and Copy Mastery: Strong understanding of graphic design principles and video content frameworks. Working knowledge of AP style or structured in-house style guides is essential.
Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated ability to measure campaign ROI, run A/B testing on paid ads, and pivot execution based on hard data.
Fast-Paced Adaptability: Ability to flawlessly multitask, manage tight deadlines, and adjust strategies quickly in a dynamic social enterprise environment.
Technical Familiarity: Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS) and modern social media listening/scheduling tools.
Education
BA/BSc in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional marketing certifications is an added advantage.
