Job Summary


Do you make significant impact and drive growth in the Trade and Working Capital space? We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Senior Specialist TWC Sales (Commercial) to lead our sales function in South Africa, focusing on high-priority sectors.
In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing a robust sales execution strategy, acquiring new business, and nurturing existing trade relationships within a designated sector.
You will deliver innovative trade & working capital solutions, add value to every customer interaction, and expand our sales effort to encompass customer value propositions, client solutions, deal structuring, pricing, credit risk management, product onboarding, and more.


Job Description

Your additional responsibilities will include some of the following;


Driving best-in-class sales practices within the team to maximize success
Leading skills development and foster trade & working capital expertise
Building strong stakeholder relationships across the bank for maximum effectiveness
Championing thought leadership across sectors, segments, and geographies
Contributing to financial and sales performance, continental free trade agreement, and marketing initiatives
Building and maintaining networks within the Absa Group across critical areas including but not limited to product owners, client coverage, and service.
Ensure that a disciplined sales process is implemented, monitored, and managed continuously to optimize effectiveness and instill professionalism.
B Degree in Commerce, banking, Economics or Post Graduate degree or MBA preferable
10 years or more Sales and Banking experience
Good understanding of corporate client International Trade needs including excellent working knowledge of client accounting and Treasury
Management operating systems and how our Services interface with them.
Excellent knowledge of Trade & Working Capital and broader Transactional Banking to provide sound advice and specialized solutions to the client as a trusted adviser.

Bachelors Degree and Professional Qualifications: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
