Job Description
The Senior Strategy Associate plays a critical role in supporting the Strategy team's objectives by assisting with strategy development, performance management, business analysis, strategic projects, partnerships, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), licensing initiatives, and driving enterprise-wide strategy execution.
The Senior Strategy Associate will work closely with the Senior Strategy Manager and Chief Strategy and governance in driving the Group's strategic agenda and collaborate with other team members to achieve shared objectives.
The role requires a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive individual capable of coordinating cross-functional initiatives, monitoring strategic performance, conducting research, and supporting executive decision-making.
The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, highly organised, and passionate about solving business problems.
They can analyse complex information, translate insights into actionable recommendations, coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously, and work effectively across diverse teams.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Strategy, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
A postgraduate qualification or MBA is an advantage.
Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, OKR Certification, CBAP) are an added advantage.
4+ years' experience in Strategy, Corporate Planning, Business Analysis, Project Management, Consulting, Corporate Development, or Performance Management.
Experience in Financial Services, Fintech, Banking, or Payments is preferred.
Exposure to strategy execution, performance management, or corporate
governance is an advantage.
Strategic analysis and business planning.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI or Tableau
(preferred).
Process mapping and documentation.
Use of AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) for research, drafting, and analysis.
