Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the company's Integrated Management System (IMS).
Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, environmental protection, and regulatory compliance across the organization.
Conduct internal audits, inspections, and compliance assessments for office operations and vessels.
Assist in incident investigations and monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate safety drills, compliance activities, and staff awareness programs.
Monitor compliance with applicable maritime regulations, industry standards, and statutory requirements.
Maintain and update compliance records, risk registers, and management system documentation.
Support vessel readiness for regulatory, statutory, and customer inspections.
Monitor crew certification and competency compliance.
Analyze inspection findings and compliance trends and prepare periodic management reports.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance operational safety, quality, environmental performance, and continuous improvement.
Participate in emergency response activities as required.


QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS


A graduate of a recognized Shipping Academy
HSE certification is an added advantage e.g NEBOSH, OSHA, etc.
Good knowledge of international shipping standards e.g MARPOL, ISPS, MLC, ISM etc
