Our client, a growing auto spares shop, is looking to hire a reliable and customer-focused Shop Attendant to support day-to-day shop operations and ensure customers receive efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
Attend to customers and understand their auto spares requirements.
Assist customers in identifying and selecting the appropriate spare parts.
Receive, arrange and issue stock as required.
Maintain an organized and clean shop environment.
Process sales and payments accurately.
Operate the POS system and maintain accurate sales records.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
Support stock taking and reconciliation.
Handle customer enquiries professionally.
Perform other shop-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Previous experience in a shop attendant, sales or retail role is preferred.
Knowledge of auto spare parts is an added advantage.
Experience using a POS system is an added advantage.
Good customer service and communication skills.
Honest, reliable and responsible.
Good numeracy and basic record-keeping skills.
Ability to work in a busy retail environment.
Must be willing to work in Githurai.
