KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop layouts for new shops and identify stations that could support retail operations.
Lead shop modernization programs including layout optimization, planograms, and space productivity
Drive non-fuel income growth through category expansion, food-to-go concepts, and strategic retail partnerships
Identify and implement initiatives to increase basket size, footfall conversion, and gross margin performance.
Develop assortment strategies based on consumer insights and local demographics
Support supplier negotiations, rebate agreements, joint business planning, and promotional calendars to ensure timely and effective execution across the network.
Monitor pricing competitiveness versus modern trade and informal retail.
Provide training and guidance on merchandising, stock management, and retail execution standards.
Regularly visit service stations to ensure operational compliance and support retail initiatives.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years' experience in Supermarket retail management, OR FMCG category management/trade marketing, OR Multi-site retail operations.
Experience in petroleum retail or forecourt convenience operations is an added advantage.
