Duties and Responsibilities:
Design test work programs in alignment with client's requirements and best practice.
Develop commercial proposals to execute test work, including scope, schedule and costs.
Develop test work flowsheets to execute metallurgical tests
Identify and procure equipment required
Project Manage the test work through planning, control, and execution
Monitor project progress, budgets, risks, and compliance
Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards
Coordinate teams across test design, equipment selection, assay and reporting functions
Write technical reports
Manage staff
Requirements:
Qualifications:
B-tech in Chemical / Metallurgical Engineering
Any Project Management qualifications would be beneficial.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years' post-graduate experience in metallurgy
Proven experience in process development and plant operation and supervision
A sound understanding of analytical techniques
Experience working on research / investigative metallurgy - proof required
