ABOUT THE JOB
We are hiring a full-time Social Media Manager to support our fast-growing mum and baby brand focused on high-quality, culturally relevant products for families in the diaspora.
This role is responsible for the day-to-day management, strategy, and execution of our social media presence, including Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms as we expand (e.g. Facebook and emerging channels).
This is a highly hands-on role, and the ideal candidate must be fully available, highly creative, proactive, and capable of managing content, engagement, and performance consistently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and execute social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
Create, script, and manage daily content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, Carousels).
Drive engagement, audience growth, and overall content performance.
Identify trends, viral opportunities, and adapt them for the brand.
Translate products into engaging, relatable, and sales-driven content.
Collaborate closely with the founder and team on a daily basis to execute ideas quickly.
Monitor content performance and continuously improve based on insights.
Manage and expand presence across additional platforms such as Facebook where necessary.
Provide day-to-day support on social media operations and related tasks as assigned.

Highly creative with strong content ideation and storytelling skills.
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and social media trends.
Basic video editing and content production skills.
Able to script, plan, and execute content independently.
Results-driven with a focus on engagement, growth, and performance.
Highly organized, proactive, and consistent.
Comfortable working closely with a team and taking feedback.
Able to work independently while maintaining high standards.
Serious, disciplined, and committed to delivering results.
