Job Summary
The Social Media Officer will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing engaging content across the Company's social media platforms.
The successful candidate will develop content strategies, increase brand awareness, drive audience engagement, and support lead generation through digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content, including graphics, videos, articles, and campaigns.
Grow the company's followership, views and overall engagement on Linkedin, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
Manage the Company's social media accounts and ensure consistent brand messaging.
Monitor audience engagement and respond promptly to comments, messages, and inquiries.
Collaborate with internal teams to promote products, services, events, and company initiatives.
Track social media performance using analytics tools and prepare monthly performance reports.
Plan and execute paid social media campaigns where required.
Support employer branding and recruitment campaigns through engaging content.
Ensure all published content aligns with the Company's brand guidelines and communication standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years' B2B experience in social media management
Creativity and innovative storytelling skills.
Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Experience creating content using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar design and video editing tools.
Basic understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and paid advertising is an added advantage.
Excellent communication, creativity, and organizational skills.
Passionate about technology and digital trends.
Proactive, adaptable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
