Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation:


Identify and target new C&I clients through market research, networking, and referrals.
Develop and manage a strong pipeline of prospective customers.


Client Relationship Management:


Build and maintain long-term relationships with key commercial and industrial clients
Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications, presentations, and negotiations.


Sales Strategy & Execution:


Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company goals.
Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals for solar EPC, PPA, or asset sales.


Proposal & Tender Management:


Lead the preparation of techno-commercial proposals, presentations, and RFQ/RFP responses.
Collaborate with the engineering and finance teams to tailor solutions to client needs.


Project Coordination Support:


Work closely with project execution and engineering teams to ensure smooth handover and customer satisfaction.
Monitor client requirements during and post-installation to drive repeat business.


Market Intelligence:


Monitor trends, competitor activities, regulatory changes, and pricing dynamics in the C&I solar market.
Provide feedback for product development and marketing initiatives.





Requirements
Educational Qualification:


Bachelor's Degree (Required): Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy), or Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field


Experience:


5 - 8 years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the solar energy, renewable energy, or power sector, with a focus on commercial and industrial clients.
2 - 3 years in a sales leadership or key account management role in the solar EPC, PPA, or energy services domain.


Skills Requirements:


Demonstrated success in:

Selling solar PV systems or energy solutions to large C&I clients.
Closing high-value contracts (CAPEX or OPEX models).
Managing complex sales cycles, including stakeholder engagement, proposal development, and contract negotiation.


Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, finance, legal, and project execution) to deliver customer-centric solutions.
Familiarity with:

C&I customer energy consumption patterns and financial decision-making.
Renewable energy regulations, incentives, and compliance.
CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
