Job Summary:
Oyomesi Specialist Hospital is currently hiring a Licensed and Experienced Sonographer to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting high-quality ultrasound examinations, assisting in accurate diagnosis, and maintaining a high standard of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures (e.g., abdominal, obstetric, vascular, pelvic, etc.) in accordance with physician instructions.
Operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively to capture accurate images.
Analyze sonographic findings and collaborate with physicians to assist in diagnosis.
Prepare and position patients appropriately for examinations, ensuring comfort and privacy.
Maintain accurate records and ensure timely documentation of procedures and findings.
Ensure proper care and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
Adhere strictly to safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards.
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
Must possess a valid license to practice as a Sonographer.
Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
Proficient in the use of ultrasound equipment and imaging software.
Strong attention to detail with excellent diagnostic and technical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
