Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Physics, Astronomy, Astrophysics, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Remote Sensing, Geographical Information Science, Geo-Spatial Engineering, Surveying, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Control and Instrumentation, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Proficiency in computer applications.
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting and reviewing basic guidelines and policies related to space infrastructure development and management;
Collecting and organizing data on infrastructure needs, capacity, and engineering activities;
Preparing basic reports, presentations, and sketches under supervision to support infrastructure planning and assessments;
Undertaking assessments and user-need surveys by compiling and organizing relevant background information;
Setting up and planning infrastructure for space-related projects;
Designing and preparing simple infrastructure components and engineering drawings;
Undertaking maintenance and security tasks related to existing space infrastructure and facilities; and
Documenting information for satellite communications and related technical studies.
