Thoughtful House Autism Center Abuja is seeking passionate and dedicated Special Needs Teachers to support learners with diverse learning needs within our inclusive school environment. The ideal candidate should have a genuine interest in child development, inclusive education, and helping every child reach their full potential.
Basic Requirements:
A minimum of a Bachelor\\\'s degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related Humanities discipline.
Aspiring teachers with a strong interest in special education are encouraged to apply.
Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, is an added advantage.
Basic report writing and technology skills is preffered.
Strong communication, observation, and classroom management skills.
A patient, compassionate, and collaborative approach to supporting learners.
Willingness to learn and implement individualized teaching strategies and interventions.
Ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, therapists, and other professionals within an inclusive setting.
A degree in Psychology, Child Development, Sociology, English, or other Humanities-related fields will be considered an added advantage. Training in special education, behaviour support, autism, learning difficulties, or related areas is also desirable.
