Duties and Key Responsibilities
Manage high-risk pregnancies, deliveries and obstetric emergencies.
Perform major and minor OBGYN surgeries: C-sections, hysterectomies, myomectomies.
Run antenatal, postnatal and gynecology outpatient clinics.
Provide leadership in family planning and reproductive health education.
Monitor maternal/perinatal mortality and conduct maternal death audits.
Supervise and mentor midwives, medical officers and interns.
Qualifications and Experience
Master of Medicine (MMed) in Obstetrics and Gynecology or equivalent post-graduate qualification recognized by KMPDC.
Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience with active clinical practiceinOBGYN.
