We are seeking a qualified and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to provide part-time, on-site speech and language services to learners. The successful candidate will assess speech, language, and communication needs, develop and implement individualized intervention plans, deliver evidence-based therapy, monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and work collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. The role also includes contributing to staff training and promoting inclusive practices across the school.
Requirements
Degree in Speech and Language Pathology, Speech Therapy, or a related field.
Relevant professional registration or license.
Experience assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children and adolescents.
Knowledge of dysphagia assessment and safe swallowing practices.
Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
A learner-centred approach with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
