Your Role:
You will be responsible for ensuring a well-organised stock room, optimising stock flow to the sales floor, and implementing effective stock control measures to reduce losses and improve service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Stock Room Excellence & Efficiency
Manage the stock room with precision, ensuring it operates at optimal efficiency
Maintain high organisational standards to ensure quick and easy retrieval of stock
Implement best practices for stock handling to minimise losses and discrepancies
Ensure that all back-office and stock room standards align with company policies
Stock Management & Loss Prevention
Ensure optimal service levels on the sales floor by managing stock flow efficiently
Maintain accurate stock records and investigate all stock-related discrepancies
Oversee write-offs and loss control, ensuring they remain within company standards
Ensure only top-quality stock reaches the sales floor by preventing damaged stock from being sold
Customer Service & Sales Support
Enhance customer experience by ensuring stock is always readily available
Support the sales team by enabling smooth stock movement and accessibility
Work collaboratively to maximise store profitability through effective stock control
Safety & Compliance
Ensure the stock room complies with Occupational Health and Safety (OHASA) standards
Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment for team members
Uphold all company policies and procedures related to stock and risk management
What You Need to Succeed:
Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
Minimum 2 years' retail experience (luxury or fashion retail preferred)
Strong understanding of stockroom operations and inventory management
Additional Skills & Attributes:
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Knowledge of relevant stock administration policies and procedures
Ability to investigate and resolve stock-related discrepancies
Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and management
A deep understanding of retail back-office operations and OHASA standards
