We are seeking a qualified and experienced Staff Accountant to join our finance team. Automotive or Logistics experience is highly desirable.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
ICAN qualified - ACA is required.
Minimum of 3 years' relevant post-ICAN qualification experience.
Automotive industry experience is mandatory.
Automotive or Logistics experience is highly desirable.
Proven experience in fleet accounting, including vehicle acquisition costs, maintenance costs, fuel expenses, depreciation, repairs, and fleet-related operating expenses.
Practical experience in manufacturing accounting, including production costs, raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), finished goods, inventory valuation, and cost of production.
Strong experience in inventory and stock accounting, including reconciliation and variance analysis.
Experience in fixed asset accounting, particularly vehicle and plant/equipment assets.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, general ledger, and month-end closing.
Experience preparing management accounts, financial reports, budgets, and financial analysis.
Ability to perform cost analysis, variance analysis, reconciliations, and financial controls.
Experience with accounting software/ERP systems; Zoho Books experience is an advantage.
Strong Excel skills, including the ability to work with financial data and reports.
Good understanding of IFRS and Nigerian tax/accounting requirements.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.
Must reside in Lagos.
