Role & Responsibilities
Deliverables:
Design and facilitate multi-stakeholder engagement workshops across target countries to:
Validate research findings and ecosystem analysis.
Surface implementation opportunities and ecosystem constraints.
Align stakeholders on program priorities and strategic direction.
Support collaboration and partnership development activities.
Develop workshop materials and engagement approaches, including:
Workshop agendas and facilitation plans.
Stakeholder mapping and participation strategies.
Presentation materials and discussion guides.
Documentation and reporting templates.
Coordinate engagement with key ecosystem stakeholders, including:
Financial institutions, insurers, and insurtechs.
Government and regulatory stakeholders.
Agricultural intermediaries and producer organizations.
Development partners and implementation organizations.
Community and participant representatives.
Ensure stakeholder engagement approaches are inclusive, participatory, and reflective of the perspectives and lived experiences of underserved populations, particularly young women participants.
Facilitate structured discussions, consensus-building activities, and collaborative dialogue processes across diverse stakeholder groups.
Document workshop proceedings, stakeholder insights, agreed actions, and follow-up recommendations in standardized reporting formats.
Collaborate with the broader technical team to integrate stakeholder feedback and ecosystem insights into program recommendations, strategic outputs, and final reporting.
Requirements
Experience required:
Demonstrated experience facilitating stakeholder engagement processes and multi-stakeholder workshops across sub-Saharan Africa.
Proven experience supporting development, financial inclusion, agricultural, resilience, or ecosystem-development programs.
Experience engaging with diverse stakeholder groups, including government institutions, financial-sector actors, development partners, community organizations, and private-sector stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience designing participatory consultation and facilitation approaches within complex program environments.
Experience supporting ecosystem coordination, partnership development, or collaborative strategy processes.
Experience contributing to multi-country advisory, research, or program implementation assignments.
Experience operating across Anglophone and Francophone African markets, including collaboration with local partners and facilitation across diverse stakeholder contexts.
Technical requirements:
Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation capability across diverse institutional and community settings.
Ability to design and manage inclusive and participatory workshop processes aligned to program objectives.
Strong understanding of ecosystem coordination and multi-stakeholder engagement dynamics within development and financial inclusion programs.
Ability to synthesize stakeholder inputs, workshop outcomes, and consultation findings into structured recommendations and reporting outputs.
Familiarity with facilitation methodologies, participatory engagement techniques, and collaborative problem-solving approaches.
Strong written and verbal communication capability across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups.
Soft skills:

Additional information about desired profiles:
Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience facilitating high-level stakeholder engagement processes within financial inclusion, insurance, agricultural development, or climate resilience initiatives across Africa. Experience facilitating inclusive consultations involving women, youth, and underserved populations will be highly advantageous. Professional working proficiency in English and French will be strongly preferred.
