Job Summary


We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven State Manager (Sales) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations within their assigned state(s), ensuring the growth and visibility of Johnvents Foods Limited's products in the market.
This role involves managing a sales team, building strong customer relationships, and driving sales of cocoa-based beverages, chocolate, soya oil, and seasoning cubes/powders.


Key Responsibilities


Manage and grow sales across the designated state(s) within the region.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
Build and maintain relationships with key customers and distributors.
Monitor sales performance and provide reports to senior management.
Coordinate with the marketing team to implement promotional activities.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer needs.
Lead, motivate, and train the sales team to meet performance targets.
Ensure proper distribution and stock levels of products within the region.
Oversee the implementation of pricing strategies and sales promotions.
Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies to maintain market leadership.


Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
5-7 years of sales experience in a managerial role.
Proven experience in sales management, particularly in selling cocoa-based beverages, chocolate, soya oil, seasoning cubes, and powders.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Experience in building strong customer relationships and expanding market share.
Knowledge of the FMCG or food manufacturing industry is a plus.
