Minimum requirements:
Matric and relevant qualification
Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), packaging materials, and finished goods
Perform inventory reconciliations between physical stock, ERP systems, and the General Ledger, investigating and resolving stock variances.
Ensure accurate inventory valuation and maintain stock records in accordance with accounting standards and company policies
Prepare and process inventory journals, stock adjustments, month-end reconciliations, and inventory-related financial reports
Analyse manufacturing costs, production yields, stock movements, and inventory variances, identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiencies and reduce waste
Coordinate and participate in cycle counts and annual stocktakes, ensuring discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
Partner with production, warehouse, procurement, and finance teams to ensure the accurate recording of inventory transactions and support operational efficiency
Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, and damaged inventory, recommending provisions and corrective actions where required
Maintain strong internal controls over inventory processes and ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards
Utilise ERP systems and advanced Excel to manage inventory data, produce management reports, and support financial and operational decision-making
