Key Responsibilities
This fixed-term contract opportunity is based at the Truworths Head Office in Cape Town. The successful candidate will work closely with Truworths stores, IT teams, Distribution Centre teams and logistics partners. The role includes the following responsibilities:
Accurately calculate, analyse and report stock-take results using the system and Excel.
Ensure essential stock control practices and principles are followed and adhered to.
Ensure all stock-related information is reported accurately and in a timely manner on the system and in Excel.
Plan, co-ordinate, analyse and report on stock takes across the business.
Assist with daily, weekly and monthly reporting in Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and tables.
Resolve stock-related queries from stores, Head Office, Distribution Centre teams and logistics partners.
Follow up on outstanding stock deliveries to all locations, including Head Office and stores.
Analyse administrative, policy and procedure documents on a daily basis.
Develop, implement and communicate sound administrative procedures to stores.
Complete stock control month-end, financial and year-end balancing in Excel.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
Matric.
A BCom level tertiary qualification will be advantageous.
Experience / Knowledge
Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and pivot charts.
Knowledge of stock inventory systems, including Retek, will be advantageous.
Strong administrative skills and experience will be advantageous.
Experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
Personable, enthusiastic and resilient, with a strong commitment to business and user satisfaction.
Adaptable and able to work under pressure while thinking on your feet.
Strong planning, organising and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.
Committed, energetic and able to work well within a team.
Experience in a retail Head Office stock role, warehouse environment or logistics environment.
