Purpose of the job:
To do day to day execution of the stock management process to ensure reconciliation between stock documentation, physical stock and system (SAP) accuracy.
Required outputs: Functional
Production booking and stock transfer on SAP
Document filing and controlling
Stock taking
System preparation and reconciliation in preparation for cycle counting
Ensure system housekeeping
Reporting
Comply with company governance & compliance policies and procedures
Monthly production reports
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Requirements
Matric / Grade 12
2 - 3 years in a similar role
Logistics and Material Management Certificate in NQF Level 5 will be advantageous.
Explosives and or Chemical manufacturing experience advantageous Minimum stock variances and minimum production variances in SAP
Ensure that we adhere to housekeeping guideline, OHS Act, ISO 14001, ISO9001, OHSAS 18001 Systems and relevant legislation.
Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) or similar manufacturing philosophies.
