Our client, a well-established restaurant chain operating across Nairobi, is seeking to recruit a Stock Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring proper stock management, cost control, and accountability across all restaurant branches. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in inventory or stock management within a busy restaurant, hotel, or retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels across multiple outlets.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile variances.
Record daily stock movements (receipts, transfers, issues, and returns).
Verify the quality and quantity of supplies received.
Support purchasing processes by preparing stock reports and reorder requests.
Ensure compliance with company stock management procedures.
Work closely with kitchen and service teams to minimize wastage and optimize stock usage.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
At least 2 years' experience in a stock control or inventory role (preferably in hospitality).
Proficiency in MS Excel or inventory management software.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Attention to detail and high integrity.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
