Responsibilities
Provide ongoing feedback to the Store Manager regarding sales floor improvements.
Ensure all customers are greeted and offered assistance promptly; staff should remain available and attentive.
Monitor individual sales staff performance and report underperformance with suggested solutions to management.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge within all allocated departments.
Ensure timely entry of customer orders into the order book.
Oversee shelf stocking; communicate stock shortages to the Store Manager for reordering.
Continuously monitor stock levels and replenish as needed throughout the day.
Ensure all items are accurately priced, labelled, and shelf-talkers are correctly placed, report discrepancies.
Immediately report and remove damaged stock from the floor, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
Maintain attractive and updated merchandising displays across all store areas.
Qualifications
Grade 11
Minimum 2 - 3 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory.
Proven track record in customer service and sales performance.
Experience in stock control, merchandising, and staff supervision.
