Job Summary


The Store Officer will be responsible for managing raw materials, spare parts, consumables, and finished goods in the store. The role requires accurate inventory control, proper documentation, and coordination with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.


Key Responsibilities


Receive, inspect, and properly record all incoming materials (raw materials, spare parts, tools, and consumables).
Issue materials to production and other departments based on approved requisitions.
Maintain accurate stock records using inventory systems and manual stock cards.
Monitor stock levels and prepare reorder reports to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of iron, steel products, and heavy materials.
Conduct regular stock counts (daily, weekly, and monthly) and reconcile variances.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store in line with HSE standards.
Coordinate with procurement and production teams to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Prepare inventory reports and submit them to management as required.
Prevent loss, damage, or theft of materials within the store.


Requirements & Qualifications


Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
2 - 5 years experience as a Store Officer or Storekeeper in a manufacturing company, preferably iron and steel or heavy industry.
