Role Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Store Officer to manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of inventory while ensuring accurate stock records and efficient store operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting stock control activities, and ensuring that materials and products are properly handled and safeguarded at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, verify, and record incoming goods and materials in accordance with company procedures.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of inventory for easy identification and accessibility.
Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
Conduct routine stock counts and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
Monitor inventory levels and promptly report low stock levels or discrepancies.
Issue materials and products to authorized personnel while maintaining proper documentation.
Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and company policies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure store environment.
Prepare periodic inventory and stock movement reports.
Support internal audits and stock verification exercises as required.
Key Requirements
B.Sc., HND, or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
