About the role
The Store implementation Systems Manager role is focused on coordinating the implementation, rollout and adoption of store-facing technology systems across retail operations.
This includes aligning store readiness, system configuration, user training, stakeholder communication and post-go-live support to ensure that new or enhanced store systems are embedded effectively and support operational continuity.
What you'll do
System support and service management
Monitor service requests, incidents and escalations to ensure system-related issues are tracked, prioritised and resolved timeously.
Act as an escalation point for business-critical system matters and coordinate appropriate technical or operational responses.
Work with service delivery, operations and vendor teams to support service reliability, issue resolution and post-implementation stabilisation.
People Leadership
Provide day-to-day guidance, coordination and direction to team members, business users and support partners to ensure system activities are delivered effectively.
Monitor delivery quality, provide practical coaching and support knowledge sharing to strengthen system capability and consistent ways of working.
Coordinate priorities, remove delivery blockers and escalate matters that impact service delivery, adoption or operational continuity.
Governance, risk and continuous improvement
Ensure system delivery, configuration, documentation and support activities comply with approved Technology standards, governance requirements and business controls.
Identify risks, support trends, adoption issues and operational dependencies, escalating material matters with practical mitigation actions.
Use performance information and stakeholder feedback to recommend improvements to processes, configuration, support practices and user experience.
Business readiness and adoption
Coordinate business readiness, communication and training activities to enable correct and consistent system usage.
Monitor user adoption, identify capability gaps and provide practical guidance to improve system use and effectiveness.
Technology systems implementation and delivery
Manage the implementation, enhancement and rollout of technology systems across assigned business or functional areas.
Coordinate implementation plans, timelines, dependencies, testing, readiness activities and go-live requirements.
Coordinate Technology teams, business stakeholders and service providers to resolve delivery dependencies and ensure implementation requirements are met.
What you bring
A qualification in Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Management, Project Management or a related field - (essential)
+5 years' experience in technology systems implementation, support, service delivery or systems management - (essential)
3 - 5 years' experience managing technology projects, enhancements, rollouts or system changes, including leadership, coordination or supervisory accountability within a technology systems, implementation or service delivery environment - (essential)
Experience coordinating user readiness, training, adoption support, vendors and cross-functional stakeholders - (essential)
Knowledge of technology systems, applications, service management, IT governance, risk controls, change management and incident management - (essential)
