Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Stores/Warehouse Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 4-5 years' experience in warehouse/stores operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
Experience in spare parts/stores operations is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and stock variance management.
Good computer skills and experience using inventory/store management systems.
Strong team leadership, organizational, accountability, and reporting skills.
Good understanding of health, safety, and security procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily warehouse and stores operations, ensuring efficient workflow and accountability.
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate stores/warehouse staff.
Monitor stock levels, variances, receiving, labeling, and proper bin/location management.
Ensure compliance with stores procedures, SOPS, and inventory-control standards.
Maintain accurate store records and inventory systems.
Enforce health, safety, security, and housekeeping standards within the stores.
Identify and report maintenance and repair requirements.
Provide accurate stock and operational reports and support management decision-making.
