October 10, 2026
Full-time
On-site
Reports to ; Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer
Works closely with : Entity heads; shared-services leads; Board and advisers; investors and partners
Base ; Abuja, with a group-wide and international remit
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Everything in this group ultimately runs through the Group CEO: the holding company\'s capital raise, the buyer mandates that feed W2A Trade, the industrialists W2A Connect brings to the table, the deals W2A Impact Capital structures. She is one person across several entities. In an organisation like ours, opportunities rarely die from lack of interest. They die because no one owned the next step.
This role owns the next step. You will sit close to the Group CEO with full visibility across every entity, and your job is to see that engagements become mandates, mandates get defined commercial terms, and terms lead to execution and revenue. You will coordinate, track and chase without managing anyone, which demands judgement and credibility. Our working standard is simple: what is the outcome, and by when? It is one of the most consequential seats in the organisation.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Turn every directive from the Group CEO into a clear action with an owner, a deadline and a link to revenue or strategy, and track it weekly.
Oversee the path from lead to engagement, mandate, commercial terms, execution and revenue, and confirm Finance and Legal have cleared each mandate before execution begins.
Compile the Monday dashboard: active mandates by stage, a rolling 90-day revenue forecast, upcoming engagements, risk flags and decisions required.
Prepare a brief before every investor or international meeting, and within 24 hours afterwards record the summary, assign actions and set the follow-up.
Keep a single relationship record for partners who touch more than one entity, and maintain follow-up with investors, anchor offtakers and institutional partners.
Support the holding company raise: maintain the investor pipeline, prepare investor briefs and track board and adviser candidates.
Research markets, sectors, investors and counterparts, and turn findings into concise briefs with a recommendation.
Protect the Group CEO\'s time: manage calendar, travel and inbox, route non-strategic matters elsewhere, and escalate only with a proposed way forward.
Uphold documentation discipline, with minutes filed within 24 hours and a dedicated folder for every mandate.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN YOUR FIRST 12 MONTHS
No commitment made by the Group CEO is forgotten, and delays are surfaced within one reporting cycle.
A greater share of engagements converts into signed mandates with defined commercial terms.
The weekly dashboard is trusted by the Group CEO and entity heads as the true picture of the group.
The Group CEO enters every significant meeting well briefed and spends more of her time on strategy and relationships.
Pipeline tracking has moved from informal follow-up to structured, documented oversight.
WHAT YOU BRING
Experience in a chief-of-staff, executive office, consulting, strategy or programme management role.
Commercial awareness: you can read a deal, see what is missing and ask the right question.
Excellent writing and research skills, with the ability to make complex matters brief and clear.
Exceptional organisation, discretion and a calm, persistent approach to follow-up.
The maturity to work with senior people and to bring solutions with every problem you raise
