The Strategy & Business Performance Officer supports the development and execution of the organization's strategic planning, business analysis, and performance monitoring functions.
The role holder translates complex data into actionable recommendations that drive strategic initiatives, operational efficiency, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic and Business Performance
Develop and implement strategic frameworks to support organizational objectives and long-term growth initiatives
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance against strategic goals
Conduct comprehensive market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend assessments to inform strategic decision-making
Business Analysis
Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders across various departments
Map and optimize business processes to enhance efficiency and eliminate redundancies
Collaborate with IT and operational teams to translate business.
Data Analytics & Insights
Design, develop, and maintain advanced analytics models to support predictive and prescriptive decision-making
Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI or similar platforms
Perform statistical analysis and data mining to uncover actionable business insights.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards are maintained across all analytical outputs
Develop automated reporting solutions to streamline performance monitoring and reduce manual effort
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders at all organizational levels
Present complex analytical findings to non-technical audiences in a clear and compelling manner
Provide strategic recommendations and actionable insights to support executive decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment on strategic priorities and initiatives

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, or related field.
Master's degree (MBA, Strategy, Economics, Data Analytics, or related discipline) preferred.
Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in strategy, business analysis, or data analytics roles
Experience in corporate strategy development, performance monitoring, or business planning.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholder relationships
Professional certifications such as Data Analytics certifications are an advantage.
