Job Description :
Perform welding of structural steel components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
Interpret structural fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and job instructions.
Carry out fit-up, alignment, and assembly of structural members prior to welding.
Execute welding using approved processes while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy.
Repair or rework defective welds to meet required standards.
Maintain safety compliance and complete welding activities within project schedules.
Requirements:
Trade Test Certificate or relevant welding qualification in structural fabrication.
Minimum of 2 - 4 years experience in structural steel welding.
Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and welding symbols.
Competent in SMAW, GMAW, and/or FCAW welding processes.
Strong focus on weld quality, safety compliance, and meeting project deadlines.
Offshore travel documents valid for at least one year(BOSIET,OSP,SBC,Medicals, TB, A&D, Audiometry)
