Job Specifications

Duties and responsibilities will entail:


Implementing and enforcing regulations and policies on supply chain management
Confirming receipt of the right quantity of goods, works or services are delivered
Receiving and issuing purchases to user divisions
Preparing quotations for stores items
Filing and maintaining procurement records
Applying systems and procedures
Analyzing supply chain management data
Carrying out Asset Management Activities
Disposing unserviceable /obsolete stores on the recommendation of a board of survey
Preparing periodic and annual supply chain management reports
Maintaining reorder levels of stores to facilitate smooth running of the Institute, by replenishing stock in good time


Qualifications

Person specifications

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:


Cumulative service in storekeeping and or inventory management for a period of six (6) years, three (3) of which must have been at the grade of Supply Chain Management Assistant II or in a comparable position
Diploma in Supply Chain Management (final stage from CIPS / CPSP-K from KISEB) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
Full membership; Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) in good standing
Proficiency in Computer Applications
