Job Description
An exciting vacancy exists at Corporate Office for an experienced Supply Chain Management Compliance Specialist within the Supply Chain Management Division.
Key Performance Output
The successful candidate will be reporting to Manager Governance and Compliance and will be responsible but not limited to the following:
Conduct research on relevant standards, laws, regulations and applicable prescripts to ensure compliance.
Monitor compliance to ACSA's supply Chain management policies, procedures, standards and regulations.
Analysing and identifying non-compliance with SCM policies and processes across the Division and provide training to close the gaps.
Ensure compliance to related frameworks, policies and procedures for implementation across ACSA Supply Chain Management and.
Provide formal & informal support on compliance and risk management to Supply Management functional heads & procurement practitioners to embed controls to roles & responsibilities to their daily activities.
Participate in relevant government forums to keep abreast of subject matter trends and contribute thought leadership to current debates.
Assist legal/Security/forensic and Internal Audit with all necessary information required in audit/forensic activities.
Ensure adherence to approved legislation and transformation imperatives.
Conduct internal proactive audits to ensure compliance with required internal and external audit standards.
Identify, analyze and mitigate risks.
Compile, submit and present various reports.
Track and report on compliance and risks for Supply Chain Management.
Active participation on the Governance Centre of Excellence (COE) and other relevant governance committees
Updating of the SCM risk register, disseminate a log of supply chain risks to relevant functions, and report on these to ACSA Risk Management.
Technical Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required:
Bachelor's degree (3 years - 360 credits) (NQF 7) in BCom Accounting/ BCom Law/ Auditing/ Supply Chain Management/ Industrial Engineering and or LLB (NQF 8) is essential
6 - 8 years' operational experience in Governance and Compliance Management/ Auditing withing SCM environment is essential
CIPS accreditation/membership is advantageous
