We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Supply Chain Officer to manage and coordinate procurement, supplier management, logistics, inventory and supply chain operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Source, evaluate and manage suppliers to ensure quality, reliability and cost efficiency.
Coordinate procurement, import and export activities and ensure timely delivery.
Negotiate supplier contracts and monitor supplier performance.
Manage logistics and transportation for smooth movement of goods.
Maintain accurate supplier agreements, pricing, inventory and product records.
Monitor procurement savings, analyse data and prepare management reports.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures and applicable regulations.
Build strong supplier relationships and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvement.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics or a related field.
Proven experience in a similar supply chain/procurement role.
Strong preference for candidates with experience working in a busy ICT/Telecom environment.
Experience in supplier management, contract negotiation and logistics.
Practical experience in import & export, inventory and materials management.
Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and organisational skills.
Good working knowledge of ERP systems, CRM and Microsoft Office.
Highly organised, cost-conscious, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
