The Sustainability Specialist reports to the Sustainability and Responsible Sourcing Lead Global. This role supports driving the sustainability agenda by lowering environmental impact, increasing social impact, and creating value throughout the tea supply chain. The Sustainability Specialist will collaborate closely with the Procurement team and other internal stakeholders to develop and implement the Responsible Sourcing approach and reporting frameworks and support the establishment of a sustainable sourcing framework.
Key Tasks on the role
	Further develop and implement LIPTON's new Responsible Sourcing Policy.
	Identify and benchmark stress areas in tea sourcing sustainability with industry peers in the beverage segment.
	Support the development and execution of a tea sustainability framework and best practices.
	Collaborate with certification partners to translate necessary actions to Procurement teams.
	Manage data and reporting needs with internal stakeholders.
	Maintain sustainable sourcing data within current and future sourcing frameworks.
	Ensure compliance with various certifications per business and brand needs.
	Drive initiatives to establish traceability in the end-to-end value chain.
	Work with internal teams to drive the Net Zero plan and support decarbonization efforts with suppliers.
	Work with the corporate Sustainability team to imbed our actions in the supply chain into necessary reports, stories and communications.
	Stakeholder Management and key interfaces
	Collaborate and manage stakeholders within Procurement function and other Cross Functional Teams
	Work closely with NGO's and Certification Standard Holders
	Work closely with Key suppliers and their sustainability teams to progress various programs
Skills and Experience
	Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing or sustainability management. You possess strong academic record, with minimum bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or engineering, are familiar with sustainable sourcing programs in the agricultural space, and are eager to make a positive impact.
	Familiarity with sustainable certifications applicable to agricultural commodities
