Responsibilities:


Configure and maintain application environments including development, quality control, and production environments.
Work collaboratively with system architects, system analysts, developers, etc. to provide appropriate access and resources for application server environments.
Manage environment provisioning, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Deploy completed software packages to all environments following established deployment pipelines.
Coordinate deployment schedules with development teams and stakeholders.
Monitor system performance, availability, and health across all application environments.
Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to server environments, applications, and infrastructure.
Document system configurations, procedures, and technical specifications and maintain up-to-date documentation of environment architecture and dependencies.
Ensure compliance with UN security policies and IT governance standards.
Keeps abreast of developments in the field; performs benchmarking and proposes new acquisitions.


What we are looking for:


Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience interacting with and administering MS Windows Server environments (server administration, PowerShell scripting, Windows Server configuration).
Minimum 4 years of experience with DevOps processes and tools, including, Azure DevOps (boards, repos, pipelines, artifacts).
Proven experience configuring and maintaining multiple application environments.
Experience with Azure cloud management is desirable, including PaaS


Education:


A first-level university degree (Bachelor's degree) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field is required. Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is desirable.
