Purpose Statement


Co-ordinate, investigate and provide timely feedback on incoming technical queries received from various departments within the contracted service level agreement.
Oversee/implement small system and/or operational improvements resulting from user and client queries


Education (Minimum)


A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology


Knowledge and Experience
Experience:


2+ years experience in relevant systems support, administration and/or analysis


Knowledge:
Minimum:

Basic knowledge & understanding of:


Computer Systems (specific systems relevant to specific team)
Any Databases experience and Query language i.e. SQL - My SQL and Microsoft SQL server


Ideal:

Working knowledge of:


IT systems development processes
Experience in scripting languages e.g. Python
ATM Experience either from a hardware or software perspective
Experience working with ATMs, either on the hardware or software side, would be an added advantage.
An understanding of ATM systems and their internal workings would be ideal. From a software perspective, experience with terminal driver applications (e.g. Postilion ATM Application) would be advantageous.
Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, SFTP), and operating systems (Windows/Linux)
ITIL Principles and the application thereof


Understanding of:


Banking systems
Banking business models
Best practices for Quality Assurance (QA)
