We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist who combines strong recruitment expertise with proactive sourcing, commercial awareness, disciplined execution and an excellent candidate experience.
The opportunity
You will own end-to-end recruitment across a varied portfolio and partner closely with HR Business Partners and hiring managers. You will translate role requirements into focused sourcing plans, identify and engage passive talent, manage recruitment systems and use digital channels to attract high-quality candidates.
Your mandate: Right talent. Right time. Right fit.
Your impact: Strong shortlists, confident decisions and a recruitment experience that reflects our brand.
Expectations:
Deliver end-to-end recruitment: Manage recruitment from vacancy briefing and advertising through sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer acceptance and onboarding handover.
Partner with stakeholders: Clarify role requirements, advise on recruitment practices, set realistic timelines, provide regular progress updates and influence decisions constructively.
Source and headhunt talent: Use LinkedIn, talent pools, referrals, direct search and proactive market mapping to reach active and passive candidates, particularly for specialist and hard-to-fill roles.
Lead digital attraction: Create clear, engaging vacancy adverts and use social media and digital channels to reach relevant talent communities while protecting the employer brand.
Use recruitment systems effectively: Maintain accurate candidate records, notes, status changes and talent pools in the ATS, and produce reliable trackers, dashboards and recruitment insights.
Protect quality and candidate experience: Present relevant, well-screened shortlists; prepare structured interview guides; communicate respectfully and timeously; and close feedback loops with candidates and managers.
Maintain governance and compliance: Follow recruitment approvals, SOPs, documentation standards, confidentiality requirements and fair internal mobility practices.
Requirements:
A relevant degree or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business or a related field.
Minimum five years of hands-on talent acquisition or recruitment experience, including end-to-end delivery.
Demonstrated success in direct sourcing, headhunting and building talent pipelines.
Strong working knowledge of recruitment practices, structured interviewing, screening and selection.
Experience using an Applicant Tracking System and digital recruitment platforms.
Practical experience using social media and online channels for recruitment advertising and talent attraction.
Confidence in managing hiring managers and senior stakeholders, including challenging the requirements constructively.
Ability to understand approved salary budgets and offer parameters, test expectations early and assess affordability
Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, prioritisation and follow-through.
