Clover is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from workforce planning and sourcing to selection, appointment, and onboarding. The role extends beyond filling current vacancies, with a strong focus on building sustainable talent pipelines and supporting succession planning aligned to business needs.
This role partners closely with line management and the broader Human Resources team to proactively identify current and future talent requirements, while enabling internal talent development and mobility. Key responsibilities include candidate sourcing and screening, supporting hiring manager capability, ensuring legal and policy compliance, and providing accurate reporting and insights to inform decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the Talent Acquisition process at Roodepoort- Cloverpark
Leverage a range of recruitment channels and systems (e.g. agencies, LinkedIn, referrals) to source high-quality candidates aligned to role requirements
Draft and publish internal and external job advertisements in collaboration with HR Business Partners
Conduct CV screening and initial telephonic interviews in line with job profiles and briefing requirements
Compile and present structured shortlists to hiring managers, ensuring alignment to selection criteria
Facilitate and/or conduct competency-based interviews in partnership with HR and line management
Conduct reference checks in accordance with business and compliance requirements
Coordinate and track probation period reviews, ensuring monthly progress feedback for new appointees
Manage and resolve queries from recruitment service providers in a timely and professional manner
Ensure vacancies are filled within agreed timelines, maintaining a strong focus on efficiency and quality of hire
Collaborate with Learning & Development teams to support GradX processes and maintain access to relevant talent databases
Provide timely and professional feedback to candidates and agencies throughout the recruitment process
Support regional talent acquisition requirements as needed, ensuring consistency in recruitment standards and practices
Maintain HR credibility through excellent customer service
Build and maintain HR credibility through the delivery of consistent, high-quality customer service to stakeholders
Continuously evaluate and enhance recruitment processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing effective solutions
Act as a subject matter expert in Talent Acquisition, providing guidance and recommending best practices to optimise recruitment outcomes
Equip hiring managers and HR teams with the skills and tools required for effective and consistent interviewing practices
Prepare and provide accurate recruitment reports on all vacancies to support informed decision-making
Develop, standardise, and maintain interview and reference check guides across all business units, including Roodepoort and regional branches
Compile and analyse recruitment metrics, including spend, Employment Equity (EE), time-to-fill, and source of hire, to track performance and inform strategy
Manage strategic pipelining for critical roles
Analyse organisational workforce trends and anticipate future talent requirements in line with business strategy
Develop and maintain talent pipeline maps for critical roles in collaboration with department leads and HR Business Partners
Proactively manage and nurture candidate pipelines, ensuring ongoing engagement of high-potential candidates for current and future opportunities
Manage on-boarding process for new joiners
Initiate onboarding workflows for new joiners, including the creation of employee numbers and system setup
Collaborate with HR Administration and line managers to ensure full onboarding readiness, including workspace, equipment, and welcome arrangements
Coordinate and facilitate the three-day HR business induction programme for new employees
Manage the preparation and distribution of induction hampers to enhance the onboarding experience
Oversee access control processes for new joiners, ensuring timely system and facility access
Assist with HR System Support
Support system training initiatives to ensure effective utilisation of HR systems across the business
Assist with the generation and analysis of reports using Cloud Analytics to support HR insights and decision-making
