Tamboerskloof, CT | AU PAIR | R15000 at Au Pair Extraordinaire

Area: Tamboeskloof, CT
Ages: The Au Pair is primarily for our newborn son expected end of October. We have one other son that will turn 3 in November and going to preschool.
Working hours: From November 2026 maybe do a few morning per week
Full time from Jan 2027 - Monday - Friday: 08:30 - 17:00


Duties:


Taking care of the newborn during the day including entertaining, going outside to the park or strolls, preparing meals for him and bibs (if not done by us), putting to bed for naps and taking care of the sleeping routine.
Occasionally fetching our other son from preschool (Villa Maria, located 5/10 min walking from our home). Maintaining the place tidy and arranging baby stuff and toys used during the day. Create a routine with the baby and keeping a diary of what happened during the day.
Requirements: 25-35 years old. Personality: calm, careful, active to entertain kids and do outdoors activities when possible. Mandatory: experience with newborn, first aid certified. Would be a plus: french speaking, keen to do additional baby sittings
Start date: November for Morning, January 2027 full time - Permanent Role
Salary: Full time R15000 per month (gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95) for any driving done directly for the family. Not to get to and from work.


All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:


Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal childcare experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
Must have their own, reliable car and at least 12 months driving experience.
Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
Must have a clear criminal record
Must have a passion for children
Must have Matric
Must have a South African ID document.
