Roles and Responsibilities


Be the primary liaison with revenue authorities on audits, tax and related compliance issues.
Build and maintain strong relationships with the statutory authorities and regulatory agencies.
Prepare and file VAT, CIT and other tax and statutory returns in compliance with regulations.
Conduct proactive tax health-checks for the Group.
Oversee processing and custody of tax related entries, records and supporting documents.
Monitor new legislation and ensure timely compliance with these across the business.
Implement effective tax-planning measures.


Qualifications and Experience


Minimum upper Second-Class Honours degree in commerce, Economics or a related field.
Fully qualified CPA(K) or ACCA in good professional standing.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a tax advisory firm, FMCG company, manufacturing sector, or similar high-compliance sector, with strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, taxation laws and compliance risk management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Hands-on experience in dealing with tax authorities and statutory bodies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
Qualification in law will be an added advantage.
