Required Qualifications and Experience


Have a minimum of a Diploma in Education with a minimum of C+ (plus) at KCSE (or its equivalent) with at least a C+ (or Credit Pass) in two teaching subjects. A bachelor's degree in education will be an added advantage


Diploma Teachers Applicants must have:


A Diploma in Education from a recognized Teacher Training Institution. Diploma Teachers who graduated in 2008 or before with a mean grade of C (plain) and C (plain) in the two teaching subjects qualify for consideration.
P1 Certificate is an added advantage.
Have an active registration as a teacher with the Teachers Service Commission.
Commitment to student-centered learning and the CBE curriculum. Any training on CBE curriculum will be an added advantage
Be an Adventist in regular standing. N/B: Get recommendation from your local church pastor
Be a Kenyan citizen.
At least 1 year's teaching experience will be an added advantage.
Bring with you the Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).


Key Duties & Responsibilities:


Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics and Chemistry lessons in line with CBE requirements.
Assess, evaluate, and record learners' academic progress.
Provide remedial support and guidance to struggling learners.
Maintain discipline and a conducive learning environment.
Integrate Christian values in teaching and mentorship.
Participate in co-curricular activities, school programs, and departmental meetings.
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians on learners' progress.
Uphold the values and ethos of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Perform any other duty as may be assigned
