Description
Inspect all vehicles after the IVR process to inspect the condition and repairs required.
Coordinate and notify Order Management of the movement of all vehicles stocked to be refurbished.
Coordinate and notify Order Management of the movement of all vehicles stocked to be refurbished and workshop repairs to be done.
Work with IVR Manager to ensure adherence to timelines and workmaship quality standards.
Update the stock sheet daily with progress on refurbishment and repairs.
Control all costs by verifying estimates of repairs and refurbishments.
Arrange all outwork repairs Book all repairs in workshops/panel beaters and do quality control before final delivery.
Ensure that there are adequate vehicles pre-prepared for sale by the Used Vehicle Sales Executives.
Provide daily feedback to the relevant parties on all vehicles under repair.
Ensure that inspections are conducted for vehicles with the balance of warranty, and are transferred.
Monitor all estimates for repeat work.
Perform root cause analysis on repairs that are done often.
Handle and direct TopUsed breakdowns through the MAN Call Centre.
Liaise with CSM on vehicles off the road to ensure soonest uptime for clients.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Grade: 12 Matric Certificate.
N3 and possess a Diesel Mechanic trade test certificate.
Skills:
Articulate complex technical information clearly and concisely.
Analytical and strategic skills to identify problems thereafter solve them.
Demonstrate integrity and honesty in dealing with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers.
Reliable, performance oriented and self-motivated.
Experience:
Experience in heavy commercial vehicle workshops and management - 5 years.
