Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Technical Drawing Teacher to teach Senior Secondary School students (SS1 & SS2). The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Engineering or Architecture and the ability to simplify technical concepts for students.
Responsibilities
Teach fundamental and advanced technical drawing conceptsto SS1 and SS2 students.
Prepare lesson notes and instructional materials.
Guide students in practical and theoretical aspects of technical drawing.
Assess students' classwork, assignments, and tests, and practical drawings.
Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.
Prepare students for WASSCE/NECO exams.
Maintain a record of students' progress.
Requirements
Minimum qualification: B.Sc or HND in Engineering or Architecture.
NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate is required.
Previous teaching experience in Technical Drawing /is needed.
Must have a strong grasp of geometric construction, orthographic projection, and building/mechanical drawing.
Strong knowledge of technical drawing principles.
Previous teaching experience is an added advantage.
Good classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
