Operations Supervisor
Job Purpose:
To install, service, maintain, and remove vehicle tracking devices professionally while ensuring safety, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct installation, servicing, and removal of tracking devices and accessories in client vehicles.
Receive daily job allocations from the Operations Supervisor and report movement before and after assignments.
Ensure proper handling, usage, and return of installation tools, trackers, and related equipment.
Complete job cards accurately for every job done and submit them promptly.
Adhere strictly to safety standards and avoid any damage to client vehicles during installations.
Maintain professional behavior, attire, and communication while on client premises.
Report technical issues or faulty devices to the Operations Supervisor immediately for escalation.
Test devices post-installation to confirm functionality (signal, GPS, engine cut-off, etc.).
Provide basic client guidance on device functionality after installation when required.
Keep records of completed jobs and note any challenges or client complaints encountered.
Support audits and physical inspections by ensuring all installed devices match internal logs.
Observe strict confidentiality of client data, vehicle access, and internal system configurations.
Participate in periodic technical training and system updates.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Number of successful installations completed.
Device functionality rate (minimal reworks).
Compliance with safety standards.
Accuracy of documentation.
Client satisfaction feedback.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, or related technical field.
Minimum of 2 - 3 years' experience in vehicle electronics or tracking system installation.
Valid driver's or rider's license is an added advantage.
Familiarity with GPS tracking systems is preferred.
Basic understanding of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics.
