This is a contract role for a Technical Procurement Assistant, based on-site in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Technical Procurement Assistant will be responsible for preparing and processing purchase orders, handling procurement activities, sourcing materials and equipment, and coordinating with vendors. The role also involves maintaining accurate procurement records, analyzing procurement data, and ensuring compliance with company standards.

Qualifications


Bachelor's degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Proficient in managing Purchase Orders and Purchasing processes
Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate suppliers, track performance, and solve procurement-related issues
Experience in Purchasing and Procurement practices
Excellent Communication skills for vendor negotiation and internal coordination
Familiarity with industry regulations in electrical, mechanical, and renewable energy sectors is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced on-site environment.
2-4 years of experience
Capable of overseas sourcing
