Key Responsibilities
Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities for flat steel products in Eastern Africa, with a focus on industries such as construction, manufacturing, and energy, food package, automotive sectors.
Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners across the region.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the Eastern African market, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to understand local demand, competition, and emerging trends in the steel industry within the region.
Negotiations and Closing Deals: Lead contract negotiations, pricing, and sales agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for flat steel products.
Key Qualifications
B2B sales experience, preferably in flat steel or related industrial products, with a strong focus on international markets.
Proven track record of successful sales in Eastern Africa (e.g., Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda, Rwanda).
Strong understanding of the steel industry, international trade, and the unique market dynamics of Eastern Africa.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to close deals and manage long-term client relationships.
Business, International Trade, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
