MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in the food testing industry.
Sound knowledge of food safety programs and systems, including HACCP, environmental monitoring, finished product sampling, food microbiology, food chemistry, and research methodologies.
Working knowledge of current food microbiology and chemistry testing methods and industry standards.
Proven experience in technical sales and client relationship management, with the ability to identify business development opportunities.
Strong understanding of laboratory operations and quality assurance principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications for reporting, data analysis, and client communication.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and laboratory management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills with a customer-focused approach.
Must be fast paced, results and sales driven
Self-motivated and enthusiastic
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Strong team player with ability to build and foster relationships
