Requirements for Appointment:
A Diploma in the relevant area of specialization from a recognized and accredited institution with at least one (1) year relevant work experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collecting and preparing teaching materials;
Conducting laboratory practical's and demonstrations to undergraduates;
Participating in research activities in the laboratory;
Ensuring that laboratory ware including chemicals, glass and plastic ware and equipment are kept in good order;
Ensuring that laboratory and workshops are kept clean and tidy;
Keeping and maintaining laboratory records;
Receiving, processing and analyzing samples;
Ensuring safe use and disposal of chemicals and laboratory waste; and
General laboratory routine.
