About the role…
We are seeking a skilled Technician with a focus on technical support and maintenance within our team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and equipment. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining high quality standards and operational efficiency in our work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to staff and customers, addressing hardware and software issues efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
Assist in the installation, configuration, and setup of new devices and systems.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
Develop and update technical documentation and user manuals for reference.
Stay informed about new technologies and industry trends to enhance performance and service delivery.
Train and support end-users on effective usage of equipment and software applications.
Job Requirements
Demonstrable experience in a technical support or technician role, preferably in a related industry.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
Proficient in various operating systems and software applications relevant to the field.
Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with network systems and hardware installation is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications or qualifications in information technology, electronics, or a related field.
Experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to equipment maintenance.
Additional technical skills such as coding or scripting are an advantage.
